Biography

Er ist regelmäßiges Jurymitglied beim Internationalen Violinwettbewerb "Königin Sophie Charlotte" in Mirow (stv. Vorsitzender), beim "Internationalen Szymon-Goldberg-Wettbewerb für Violine und Viola" in Meißen sowie beim "Internationalen Wettbewerb für Violine Kloster Schöntal". Als Gastprofessor folgt er Einladungen zu Meisterkursen in Italien, Frankreich, Polen, Deutschland und China.

He is a regular member of the jury at the International Violin Competition "Queen Sophie Charlotte" in Mirow, at the "Szymon Goldberg International Competition for Violin and Viola" in Meissen and at the International Competition for Violin and Viola in Stuttgart and at the International Competition for Violin Kloster Schöntal and follows as a guest professor invitations to master classes in Italy, France, Poland, Germany and China.

Seit 2008 unterrichtet Skerdjano Keraj Violine, Kammermusik und Orchesterliteratur am Standort Aachen der HfMT Köln, seit 2015 hat er eine ordentliche Professur für Violine inne. Er ist Prodekan und stellvertretender Direktor am Standort Aachen

Since 2008, Skerdjano Keraj has taught violin, chamber music, and orchestral repertoire at the Aachen campus of the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT Köln). In 2015, he was appointed full Professor of Violin. He currently serves as Vice Dean and Deputy Director of the Aachen campus.

Seine Studierende sind Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe und wurden als Konzertmeister, Vorspieler, Stimmführer, Tuttisten und Akademisten in renommierten Orchestern wie z.B. der Komischen Oper Berlin, dem Philharmonischen Staatsorchester Hamburg, dem WDR Rundfunkorchester, den Düsseldorfer Symphonikern, der Deutschen Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, dem Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, der Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, der Geneva Camerata sowie der Nagoya Philharmonie in Japan engagiert.
